Day 115

Some of us will be bidding farewell to
this number soon, some have already bidded farwell
Oh dear... we are ageing. (Sorry Candice; Lao shi)

Instead of Everyone gathering at OCF,
We had a decentralized meeting tonight
i.e. Meeting in our individual 'Small groups'

Some groups have chill out outings, some
have dinner at other's house and for ours,
we dined at an Italian restaurant after our
plans for picnic failed due to the 'Not so sunny' weather

This is Leonard, his cold jokes are of World class standard

Over dinner, he asked if I would like to join him to catch
Radiohead in Barcelona over Summer holidays. My Jaw dropped.
Just yesterday, I was praying that God would send someone to
go to Barcelona with me. Most of my London friends here have been there,
others have already got their travel plans. And I want to go there badly.
Shamefully.. perhaps it was due to 'Meteor Garden 2' Haha...
I'm not a fan of Radiohead, just a fan of 'High & Dry'
so... lets see what could be worked out

My Pasta was so tiny and it costs 7 pounds!!!
I feel I could easily wipe out 5 plates of that
Nevertheless... it tasted good

Later, we went grocery shopping at the nearby supermarket

Some kid must have destroyed the pig's face

Guess what I got from the supermarket??

A BIG cabury chocolate for 1.75 pounds
Thats like SGD$4.70!???
This size would easily cost SGD$7.00!!

Spent the rest of the evening completing a song
that has been in my mind for long. Finally its done.
Thank God for that! And thanks to Liang ge's encouragement
Crabbylobster, your song will be next in line Ok?
Your lyrics too challenging, too Power for me liao :P

Day 114

Today marks the first day of my examinations

Victory pose in expectation for a good paper

Its interesting, the examination venue ain't
in my school building but all over central London

Today's venue was at 'City temple.'
A church building just beside Summer's workplace

And the examination was conducted
in one of the church halls
Halfway during the exams, when I lift my head up,
I saw the cross right before my eyes

And I thought to myself, its cool to have exams
in such a setting because

1. When you have no idea what to write, you can look
at the cross and shout 'God help me!!!!'

2. When you attempt to cheat with your friends, you look
at the cross and shout 'Oooppss!!'

One down, 3 more to go. Celebrate first

Day 113

Is Summer here yet?

The temperatures are getting warmer by
the day. Today's temperature was at 16'C
and the sun was good. Somehow, it seems like
we skipped the whole of spring and headed straight
into summer...

I miss wearing lup sup clothes out on the streets

Its cool to have friends to study, cook, eat,
watch crunchyroll and chill with in more stressful
times such as these. Thank God for good friends :)

Day 112

One of the motivations in our revision
has got to be our break time!

Because thats when we watch 1-2,
sometimes 3 episodes of
Anime/Japanese drama on Crunchyroll.com

I made a new discovery today.
Crunchyroll.com has 3 full seasons of
'My date with a Vampire'
I'm so gonna whack it after my exams

I was watching 'GTO' with Gordon over lunch
this afternoon when he commented that I look
like this character inside the show...
Well.. perhaps its because of the broken nose and long sides I suppose

Come to think of it, I have lots of friends that
resemble celebrities. And I mean they really look
like them, not like the negative demonstration above

Jason Hsu(5566) vs Andrew Ng (7788)

Steph Song vs Amy Song (What a coincidence)

Man, hailer.. I really give you alot of face to
put this one up, thats because I can't find the
guy from 'Twilight Kitchen'

Sorimachi Takashi vs Hailer Chong

Megan Lai vs Kellie

John Hensley vs Andrew.Q

Ho-Yeow Sun vs Khoo Jiali (Mini-Ho)

Wilbur Pan vs Edward Auto-rich

Last but not least..

CHAR-maine vs Black

Day 111

Today was the deadline submission for my coursework
I have been e-mailing my professors to enquire
how to submit my work because no instructions were given anywhere

It was only this morning that I got a reply from my lecturer
'I'm not sure how submission is done, please ask the admin staff
in the Geography department'

And so I did. Only to find out that I have 40 minutes
left before deadline and there were a few things
that need to be done.

1. Upload my files to 'turn-it-in'
2. Print out hard copies of my essay
3. Walk down 4 streets to the Old geography department
4. Get the cover sheet and sign declaration form

Apparently, the mode of submission here is centralized and
managed by the Geography department staff instead of
the course lecturers and teaching staffs themselves

It was a 'Scary' 40 minutes having to rush through
everything in shock. But here I just want to Thank God
because I always wake up at 1130hrs now that it is
our term study break. But somehow, I decided to wake up
at 1000hrs this morning to head to school together with
Gordon. If I had not made that decision,
I might have missed the submission at 1200hrs and got my marks
deducted... Thank you Boss, you never fail to prevent my failure ;)

Jeep and I participated in 2 tests in the psychology
department today. One of which was testing
for the claim made below

'Some previous research has shown that people who
are mildly depressed are realistic or accurate
in making judgement about...'

'This has led to the idea that depressed people
view the world in general more realistically than
others, and that this could be related
to their mood state

Was given a questionaire towards the end of the test.
I was required to answer a whole load
of Seth-ish questions, rating them on a scale.
And man are those questions depressing...
As depressing as the Emo hall of fames below

E.g.

1. I feel worthless and un-deserving of other's attention
2. I feel that I deserved to be punished
3. I feel unmotivated to get things done lately
4. I have thoughts of harming myself even though I know I should not

Well, I got paid £6 for being emotional for 1hr!

Salary for the day £6 + £3 = £9

And we spent £8.50 on dinner just to pamper
ourselves... Exam stress lah... so spend abit.

This Oreo milkshake stand as the best fluid that
has ever entered Angus Sham's mouth

The taste was totally out of this world

'Some previous research has shown that
high intelligence could lead to outbursts
of mischeive and hebetudinous behaviours'

Tsk tsk... RJ never teach you how to squeeze tomato sauce?

And the highlight was the 'Angus burger'
It was so BIG that it needed 2 sticks to keep
the burger in place!

Before I retire for the day...
With caring and generous sponsors like this,
who needs to go grocery shopping?

Day 110

After listening to a weighty sermon
in church today, it kind of flung me into
deep thought. I thought I would walk inside
Hyde park instead of along the circumference to
give my creator the space to 'Sort me out'

Man... the flowers are so pretty

These 'White stuff' among the grass kind
of look unsightly yeah?
I always thought they were wild mushrooms

But its beauty caught my attention today
Afterall, it was not what I thought it was

Don't be too quick to jump into conclusions and
make your own assumptions of what it is yeah?
Give yourself a chance to discover its beauty
and give it a chance to show that 'it' 'she' 'he' is Good

I have never been intrigued by flowers
Until today...

Beautiful isn't it?
Be it as an individual, or as a whole,
The colour is... pretty...
No.. it is Pulchritudinous

Thats how good a painter and creative
my Creator is :P

It usually takes me 45 minutes to walk the path
Today, I strolled it through in 1h20min
But after this little walk with my Creator,
I guess I could safely say that I was 'sorted out'
and the feeling was..GOoooooD!

And lunch from my sponsors was good too!
