Met Summer for lunch today at some
pub near her office
In London, pub restaurants are
very popular and among the cheaper places
to have your meals
This is possibly one of the biggest
burger i have ever had in my life..
The meat patty is like... thicker than
my geography textbook... nah just exaggerating...
Shot dedicated to Mum
Your beloved God-daughter @ her work place in London.
Went to the library to photostat
some materials from textbooks...
I think it would be an interesting research
to calculate the amount of trees University
students kill per day... I believe the numbers
would be out of this world
I always prefer reading textbook to papers, journals and articles
They are more comprehensive and direct..
No doubt authors from paper journals and articles provide
some amazing and interesting views once in a while,
but most of the time, their bombastic flowery use of language
never cease to confuse me. Sometimes they even seem to be
contridicting each other in their arguments and statements
Charity mentioned something about me that I felt was rather true
She said 'You're the surface kind of person'
Meaning I go for 'simple understanding' 'surface knowledge'
and then I stop there because I feel that thats all I need
to know and I'm satisfied with that 'little knowledge.'
Thats why i often get comments from my professors
'Good points, but essay lacks argument, examples and depth.'
While I'm happy with that (Kind of complacent huh?),
I really pray that this would not be the attitude
when it comes to the word of God. Staying satisfied
with 'finger food' rather than the 'main course'
Tonight was the last day of OCF for the term
Joined some of the guys for supper
As I was walking home on the streets..
6 police cars suddenly stopped
2 policeman carrying Shot-guns
and a few others with German Shepherds rushed out of the car
for the 'civilian' car that they managed to 'sandwhich'
One of the police officers shouted at us
'Hey stop!' and requested for us to cross the road
to the opposite side instead... It was like a movie!
Perhaps some Mafia boss was inside the car huh?
6 police cars to stop one small car.. WOW
To Fishcake, all the best for your LAST paper
in your 22 years of education!
Enjoy your last paper @ SMU!!
And if you guys over in Singapore are free today,
its a cause for celebration ain't it? KFC?
