I went 'Home' today
Yeah, after such a long time, I decided
to pay Aunty Irene and Uncle Nam Sing a visit
Its interesting, as I walk down the streets back 'Home'
The feeling this time is totally different.
The last time when I walked the road..
All seems bleak, uncertain and gloomy
But it was a light-hearted and joyful
walk down today.
Perhaps I have finally settled down in London
Cat along the way
I thought this would be a beautiful shot if I had tilt
the camera slightly to capture the full face of the cat
'Beautiful letdown' - that every beautiful moment in
my life has also been imperfect (John Foreman, San Francisco)
Home
It was great seeing everyone again
Sharing the pains and joys of our individual
journey
And of course, Uncle Nam Sing's world class cooking!
We're in for a BIG treat tonight
Fresh oysters!
and of course the very entertaining performances
by little Venise and Scott
Though the temperatures are still low, spring is
on its way, and I collected my short sleeves and
3/4s in anticipation of its arrival
Before I bidded goodbye to everyone,
Aunty Irene and Uncle Nam sing blessed me with 50-pounds...
Its a BIG sum of money and I felt so Gao wei receiving it
But I thank God for placing these saints along my path.
People who are geniune and truly concern for my well-being,
and more than that, to me a 'stranger'
And as usual, I got 'ta-bao' food from the
excess to settle my meal tomorrow!
It was a saturday evening once again
and i just want to get out of the house
before thoughts come into my mind and throw me
into 'Seth' mode again
And so I took a walk down central London by myself
to no-where, snapping pictures along the way
I have no idea where I was walking to..
just walking down alleys upon alley,
towards the direction where I could hear music, noises
or see people
And before long, I realise I emerged out
in Covent Garden
and then Chinatown..
It looks like Central London was kind of
busy tonight
Enjoy the peace in the smaller streets
I thought this picture reminds me alot of Mum
as well as my maternal side of relatives,
my cousins... aunts and uncles..
The 'Tribal' look... I guess Dad will
agree with me on this?
Well... it was a toy exhibition by the way...
Shot dedicated to George, Charity and the I.T.
