Day 64

Sponsored dinner from Marks and Spencer:
Chicken rice in Coconut milk

Tasted like a low quality Briayni... OOooh I miss my Briayni and Teh Peng so much

Gordon was given 2 tickets (free!!) to a musical tonight at 1900hrs: Jersey boys

Outside the theatre (Hail to the most white and Rich Prince Edward)

Basically the musical was about the American 1960s poprock band '4 seasons'
How they were formed, the challenges they faced as a band, how they each went their own separate ways, as well as their private lives.

I always thought musicals were boring, but never realised I have been missing out so much until tonight because I enjoyed every moment of it. It was the first musical I attended (If you don't count the school musicals)

I was so punk'd by the lightings, how the props (i.e Drum sets, mics, billboards) appear on stage, transitions from scene to scene. How the actors synchronise so well with the backing tracks. And the retro soundtracks by 4 seasons! I Love it!

Some of the familiar soundtracks by them are like 'Can't take my eyes of you'
'Big girls don't cry' 'Oh what a Night'

It was a nice change for me. I love the raw guitar tones. Without going through any soundboards, effects. Just plain simple and nice and groovy. Loving it.

Many Fender telecasters were featured as well which was awesome!

Thumbs up for this musical. I'm willing to pay 15 pounds to watch it again.

It was really good. Perhaps My Old man have heard of '4 Seasons' before?
