Day 70

When I walked to the toilet for my Morning 'P' this morning,
I saw a big notice on our Kitchen.

It goes:

Dear People who have been stealing our food,

We have already reported this matter to the office (Not Police ah...)Its not up to you to clean out our fridge and cupboads of all our food
You need to eat, we need to eat too.
We buy our own food, you should as well...

If you are hungry and have no money,
Marks and Spencer throws out their food everyday before midnight.
Help yourself there (Man, the person is describing me sial!)

Also, if you gonna use the kitchen
Please clean up after, yourself.

Furthermore, Suprise suprise!
We actually know who you are
This is but to save you some embarrassment
For we are housemates afterall

So, please stop stealing our food

IT IS SHAMEFUL AND DESPICABLE!

The notice sounded abit 'Singaporean' don't you think?
Nevertheless, to whoever it is who wrote the notice, RESPECT lah!
Thanks for being the voice of the 'H' Kitchen and representing our many grievances.
Hopefully this 'stealing' stops soon.
Once summer comes.. I can no longer hang my food outside my window to keep fresh :(

I was at the geography library browsing this book 'Our Stolen future'
The book has interesting title headings...

'Chemical Messengers'

'To the ends of the earth'
Wonder if the author is some Christian song person

Visited the library toilet before I left for home

Stood in front of this door which the sign throw me into great confusion

I received a handwritten mail from within UK.
Was trying to think very hard who it might be.. from UK???
I was sincerely hoping it would somehow be a £100 cheque of some sort

But... it was just a letter enclosed with a 'SUKA' membership card
'Singapore UK Association'

4 of us from the 'H' corridor headed to the movies tonight

We caught 'The other Boleyn Girl'

At first when Peggy first told me it was a movie on Olden British setting, and a History film, I was rather unsure if I would enjoy the movie. But since it was only
£3.50, I thought I would just go to 'experience' the cinema in UK.

I realise the cinema was where 'Kensington Temple' (The church that I attend here) use as the 'overflow' hall on sundays. Coincidence man.

'Hey Chris, what-cha looking at?'

You'll never know if you like something until you try it.
And I did enjoy the movie! It was good, and also sparkled an interest in England's history.

It was about how 'King Henry' (The King Of England then) split the whole Roman Catholic church for a Woman and because of that, it resulted in the Protestant and Roman Catholic divide in the UK today.

On our way back, we were saying that Amandine looked like 'Sandra Bullock'
The 'Miss Congenitality'

See the resemblance?
