Day 72

After my last 'International Migration' lecture this afternoon,
I went to Tesco to do some grocery shopping since M&S is out of 'stock'

To my greatest suprise...
I met Kellie coincidentally in the meat section.
Check out UK's self check out system

We walked on together and saw some nice designer boutiques

And as we walked on... we walked to...

Well, there were a few reasons why I decided to walk in and spend the pounds

1. Kellie will be flying back to Singapore tomorrow

2. Celebrate my '2 mth' in the UK (was in N.Ireland on 2nd March)

3. Just to cheer myself up?

We went to Primark to walk walk after that and grab some good steals...

Kellie kept exclaiming 'Oh my, i can't believe it... I'm going back tomorrow!!'

My reply 'Ya la ya la...'

Kellie: The last time i counted it was 115 days, now its tomorrow!'

My reply: 'Ya la ya la...'

Headed down to Mac-donald to further cheer up the big kid.

Bought this shades at £2.00 from Primark

Shaping ice-creams

Went back to Hall to dig out my 'stuff' which I 'Bai Tuo' Kellie to bring back for me.. Like my long johns, scarfs, thick socks that I no longer need for now because the temperatures are gradually rising. But thanks! to my friends in Spore who bought those for me. It has kept me alive with your warmth :)

Because it was so much stuff, i decided to help her carry them back
Waiting for the bus in front of the fire

And Kellie showed me her very creative textile design works.

And she told me 'If you were to put them on your blog, write it down that every piece of design, weaving and stitching is God inspired, sometimes out of desperation, sometimes out of helplessness.'

Some poses with her shades before I left

And look at what she made me bring home from her Kitchen

Gigantic photo chips, rice and penne, strawberry jam and Ovaltine!

Kellie, thanks for helping me bring back the stuff to Singapore and your many insights and encouragements. Have a blessed blessed time with your family and friends. Looking forward to your many stories when you return in April!

And to the Daxiaojie
Happy 7th year!! :P
Forgive me hao ma?
