Peggy (My Hall mate) and I joined the UCL union for a trip down to Stonehenge as well as the city of 'Bath' today.
1100hrs- Arrived at Stongehenge, South West England
This thing here is an audio guide.
There are numbers demarketed along certain points on the walkway. All you have to do is to key in the number and they will give you a audio tour information about where you are standing.
Stonehenge existed since 2000BC. Whether or not it's natural or man-made. No one has a definate answer as yet. Some say that aliens left the rock there. Some said that large scale exhumation occured revealing the corstones.
What if it was some ancient man's idea to decide to play a joke one fine day and they shifted some rocks to the site? And it became one of the '7 wonders.' They would laugh their butts off if this was to be true
Peggy's eye candy for the trip. Our tour guide
One of the worst things that can happen when you travel with me.
City of Bath from a distance. Looks very neat isn't it?
1200hrs
First thing that greeted us upon arrival: Bath Abbey Church
First activity upon arrival. MAKAN!!!!
Next, we headed down to the Roman Bath Museum. A place where the Romans used to bathe and soak around.
Am I supposed to Wedggie this guy?
The audio guide again.
I like this kind of Roman designs.
Roman Longkang?
Lets observe 1 minute of silence...
Ok time to take a bath
Doing stupid things again
Peggy please don't traumatize the baby. He still has got a bright future ahead of him
And we could test the fresh water from the spring.
Mind you, it tasted DISGUSTING. It is as if you were drinking water stained with blood/iron.
The city of Bath has a unique colour code for the buildings. Almost 90% of the buildings here are of soil colour.
Pulteney Bridge
Guess who was the horse pulling in the carriage behind?
A brown colour Cho cho thats the same colour as the horse!!!
Not only is the colour code unique. Everything is very organised. From the building structure arrangements to the parking cars. Very orderly indeed
Picture of the day. Bathtub
Before we left, we visited the 'Sally Lunn's House' - The oldest house in Bath
The tourist thing to do. Sovenirs
And of course pictures
